Community Stewardship for red panda conservation via red panda conservation chapter drafting in operational plan of community forest in Nepal (2021-2022)

A chapter on red panda protection was developed and approved for the three community forests of Khotang district of Eastern Nepal. This project trained and deployed 12 local youths for Red Panda Occupancy Survey assisted with Biologists from Nature Conservation Initiative Nepal (NCI-Nepal). The Rural Municipality Office, the Community Forests Users Groups, and the Municipality Office created and disseminated the infographic Flex.
